Riviera Bay is a unique waterfront neighborhood with incredible natural beauty, strong community connections, and a shared responsibility to prepare for the challenges that come with living along the bay. Over the past several years, residents have been actively engaged in conversations around stormwater, infrastructure, coastal resilience, emergency preparedness, and long-term planning for our community’s future.
The Riviera Bay Civic Association continues to work alongside residents, city and county partners, and regional organizations to stay informed, share resources, and help our neighborhood understand the projects and decisions that impact us.
This page serves as a resource for updates on local resiliency efforts, including city planning initiatives, infrastructure projects, community programs, and opportunities for residents to stay involved.
Together, through education, preparation, and collaboration, we can continue building a Riviera Bay that is ready for the future.

This flood mitigation pilot project is designed to help neighborhoods across the City of St. Petersburg become more resilient to flooding.
Through education and engagement, the project empowers residents to better understand their flood exposure and explore solutions tailored to their neighborhood’s unique needs.
